My First Commissioned Painting

     Okay another post. So this is my first ever painting, I did for my mom's friend. She was my first paying costumer and she asked for a painting with a jazz theme. She wasn't expecting this, haha. This painting took about 4 months to do and I worked really hard on it. I used water colors and it came out looking like this! I am very proud of it and I am thinking of doing more paintings.

     I was inspired to make this because my dad was a musician, he passed away about a year ago and I wanted to make a big collage of instruments for him. So I hope you all like it! Leave a comment below telling what you think!

    Again, great use of color and I like the montage/collage type idea with all the instruments all over the page. well done!

    I LOVE the way you have used the whole area of your canvas where it shows whole and parts of instruments.

    You have certainly filled the whole area to a degree where it causes the viewer to spend more time studying your painting!!!

    There are sections that cause me to 'Think' "What's that part and what's that?" which takes me deeper into the picture...

    ...i feel pretty sure I can see a party in full swing when I look at it!
